Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the US as well as Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She is currently a sportscaster for ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in 2016. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been since when she was nine years old. Her ability in this area helped her to get her first position at Univision, Miami. She worked alongside national producers on shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. In 2009, the CBS station of St. Petersburg hired her after this as a sports reporter. In 2009, she relocated away from Texas to Rio Grande Valley where she was a news reporter at KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009, she moved to Rio Grande Valley in Texas in which she was an editor for KNVO48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition, she was frequently called upon to be an anchor for sports and weather. She then anchored and reported at Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was granted more responsibilities. She covered the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series, the Dallas Cowboys and the NBA Postseason, as well as the Finals FC Dallas FC Dallas Stars. In addition, she hosted her own local Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. The show was promoted to be anchor of the sports segment to Despierta America Deportes' morning show. They eventually settled in Mexico City and she was born there on November 22 in 1985. There is an older sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and settled in Miami. In the course of a few months, her father separated from her mother and she was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. When on vacation, Antonietta stayed at the house of her sister Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sibling had recently gotten an offer to work. Still a senior in high school and yet with a clear idea what she wanted to do for her life, Antonietta was able to visit her local University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her needs. In the end she fell in love with the school. And they offered her an academic major. Following the completion of her high school education, she attended the university to study media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was student in the class, established an ongoing relationship with her. Mark's passion for journalism and her self-confidence instilled confidence in her. She, in turn, tried to meet his standards and not let him down.
